FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Introducing AeroShield Alliance DOVER, NH – Businesses headquartered in New Hampshire, Mississippi, Ohio and Arizona today announced the formation of AeroShield Alliance, a new small-business consortium to accelerate innovative technologies that advance missions and reduce expenses for U.S. defense, readiness and security.
“Our solutions range from deploying AI for infrastructure inspections, to planning and executing post-disaster recovery programs, to surveilling the southern U.S. border for national security,” said Bill Pardue, founder of Athenium LLC, based in Dover, and chairman of the new AeroShield Alliance.
Clients of four companies launching the Alliance have included the U.S. Department of Defense, the Army, the Air Force, the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Central Intelligence Agency.
“Together, our companies offer proven solutions integrated to address a targeted range of public needs at lower cost with faster delivery”, said Deborah Martin, president and CEO of Service Specialists of Mississippi and co-founder of the Alliance.
Below are profiles of each Alliance company:
• Elevated Technologies LLC: Delivering scalable, dual-use training, technical documentation and operations support for intelligence-surveillance-reconnaissance systems, aerostat platforms and aviation maintenance. Elevated’s current work includes supporting the DHS Tethered Aerostat Radar System for Customs and Border Protection, providing operations oversight, maintenance, data network support and training. Led by CEO Jon Lerette in Arizona.
• Aero Velocity Inc.: Providing superior aerial mapping and drone expertise for more than a decade, Aero Velocity offers premium drone-based LiDAR, multispectral, photogrammetry and thermal data services. Clients include federal agencies such as the USDA and U.S. Forest Service as well as large national and regional property managers who are customers of Aero Velocity’s “drones-as-a-Service” for repairs, fleet management, drone manufacturing and ongoing maintenance. Led by CEO Mark Hastings in Ohio.
• Service Specialists Ltd: Operating across ten states, with deep roots in Mississippi since 1967. Service Specialists provides key support in planning, preparing, training and responding to crises and strengthening community resilience, especially in the case of natural disasters. Service Specialists’ staffing solutions are comprehensive – from temporary and contract placements to executive search and SMEs. Clients include government agencies and private-sector companies in information technology, healthcare and logistics.
• Athenium LLC: Providing actionable intelligence through AI tools and advanced data analytics that identify and mitigate risks of natural hazards, infrastructure damage and poor organizational performance. Athenium provides weather forecasting on a highly localized basis, with 24-7-365 operational support; computer vision to assess condition and damageability for buildings, airfields and roadways; and quality-assurance software to audit operational processes, procurement decisions and regulatory compliance.
One key synergy that the Alliance offers both government and private-sector clients, said Aero Velocity CEO Hastings, is integrating computer vision and deep machine learning with insights gained from the highly detailed imagery and insights generated by drones. “Our capabilities support inspection and maintenance of buildings large and small,” said Hastings.
Lerette, CEO and co-owner of Elevated Technologies, noted that the Alliance consortium will offer a streamlined approach for government agencies and large corporations to benefit from the advantages of working with small businesses. “Together, the synergy of our four companies reinforces and complements AeroShield’s enduring commitment to excellence.”
