Aero Velocity at Commercial UAV Expo 2025
Aero Velocity Team at CUAV Expo Las Vegas 2025
This year’s CUAV Expo was a defining moment for Aero Velocity. We shared not only how drones are transforming agriculture and conservation, but also where we’re headed as a company.
👤 Leadership on Stage
Aero Velocity’s CEO Mark Hastings
Mark Hastings, CEO, opened with our keynote presentation Fields to Forests: Advancing Agriculture & Conservation with Drone-Based Data Collection. Mark announced our plans to pursue a public listing on NASDAQ via reverse merger, expected late 2025/early 2026 — a milestone that will accelerate Aero Velocity’s ability to scale solutions worldwide.
Aero Velocity’s CRMO Erik Schultz
Erik Schultz, Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer, brought a powerful perspective on building sustainable drone businesses. His session unpacked the strategic business systems behind high-ticket contracts, showcasing how drones are reshaping industries from university campuses to stadiums to commercial cleaning.
🌎 From Fields to Forests
With the USDA-NRCS, we’re helping farmers in the South cut water waste and erosion by pairing LiDAR and multispectral imaging with poly pipe irrigation — reducing water use by 20–40% while protecting downstream ecosystems.
With the US Forest Service, our drones are mapping fragile Montane Bogs, giving scientists non-invasive, repeatable data to monitor climate impacts and protect habitats found nowhere else on Earth.
🏌️ Expanding Commercial Solutions
Beyond federal contracts, Aero Velocity is growing in commercial markets. We recently scanned championship golf courses and deployed CleanSweep™ exterior cleaning ahead of the LIV Golf Tour’s year-end championship — showing how drones can maintain facilities as well as map them.
🔮 Looking Ahead
We’re investing in:
BVLOS operations to expand mission scale
AI-powered analytics for near real-time insights
Accelerated turnaround from raw UAV data to decision-ready intelligence
From farm fields to forest bogs, and from stadiums to city skylines, Aero Velocity is proving that drones aren’t just tools in the sky — they’re engines for smarter land, water, and asset management.
A huge thank you to our clients, partners, and the many new connections we made in Las Vegas. Together, we’re Propelling
Aero Velocity’s Nischay Soni, John Martell, Alan Skipworth, and William Gilliland.
