Aero Velocity is putting in the hours with their ZOE x8. They've been flying the ZOE for a range of LiDAR missions with their YellowScan Mapper+ as well as multispectral missions. Itโs quickly become one of their go-to platforms in the field. Here's what they say:
"What stands out most is how solid and reliable it feels in the air. Whether weโre out in the heat of Mississippi farmland or dealing with variable mountain weather on a forestry scan, the ZOE handles it.
From the pilotโs perspective, the ZOE gives us confidence. Itโs responsive, smooth to operate, and built tough, which means fewer worries about unexpected downtime. For our clients, that translates into faster data collection and fewer flights. We've used it on projects for the USDA-NRCS, US Forest Service, and several research programs, and itโs consistently delivered the performance we need to meet tight timelines and high data quality standards.
Weโve flown a lot of different systems over the years, and the ZOE just feels like a well-engineered platform. Itโs become an integral part of daily operations, and we are proud of the work we have accomplished with it."
